Women Development Fund (WODEF) Initiates a Training Program “Rebuilding Rural Household Livelihoods through Sustainable Climate Smart Agriculture”

In June 1, 2023, Women Development Fund (WODEF), a Community women-led organization based in Kisii County officially launched a life skills promotion training program in Nyaribari Chache Sub-County, to empower vulnerable women and girls out of school to engage in climate smart agriculture and climate adaptation livelihood activities to improve household nutrition and reduce incidences of poverty in rural areas. The training program aims to rebuild rural household livelihoods and improve nutrition status of women and children living in abject poverty. WODEF is committed to empowering women and girls which is critical to the sustainable development of any society.
