Collins Kipleting alias Rengstar with a poster seeking forgiveness A local Kalenjin artist has confessed his crime and sought forgiveness from the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for impersonating him. Collins Kipleting alias Rengstar from Sugoi area,Uasin Gishu county,said that he wanted to gain more followers and popularity using the name of the deputy president. "For the mistake I did for impersonating the deputy president,I myself have apologized to him,I seek forgiveness in the court,I have apologized to the deputy president there in the court but I have not received any feedback,"said Kipleting. He was arraigned on 18th December,2022 at Milimani Law Court,Nairobi.He pleaded guilty and was fined 50,000 or 7 months in jail.His parents was unable to pay the money due to their low income.His close friends and well wishers from Sugoi put their hands together and fill the up the amount required by the court.
